Parvo   

Intestinal worms can cause inflammation and bloody stools. Annual deworming is ideal but treat symptomatically too.

Worms

Inflammatory bowel disease triggers colon inflammation and bloody poop. Requires immunosuppressant therapy for life.

IBD   

Swallowed foreign items may injure the GI tract on the way out. Symptoms can resolve if passed. Seek vet care

Blockage

External abdomen trauma from hits or bites damages internal tissue causing bloody stool. Needs prompt treatment.

Injury  

Both cancerous and benign intestinal masses erode tissue they pass over. Some bleed chronically. Biopsy determines treatment. 

Tumors   

Ingested toxins like rat poison cause internal bleeding in dogs. Needs emergency vet support and possible blood transfusions.
